After Sales Questions And Support

This morning, I was playing around with one of my XSitePro sites and decided to add a Blog to the page footer. I only wanted to link to the blog from the page footer and not from the navigation menu. I looked around a bit and couldn't find a way to do this. I went to the XSitePro software website and did a search on the XSitePro forum. In a couple of minutes, I found what I needed. I like this feature a lot. Before this, I had a question about FTPing my site and I posted on the forum as well as emailed XSitePro support. A few hours later, I had XSitePro support answer my question and also got some responses from XSitePro forum users. The members on the XSitePro forums are a supportive bunch and always willing to help. It's good to know that I can always get my queries answered in less than a day.

For those of you that would like to see XSitePro in action...

XSitePro Software Review

When one thinks of web design software, XSitePro is not necessarily the first thing that comes to mind. Most people attempting to build a website for the first time go with the old stand by, Microsoft FrontPage. FrontPage is popular largely due to it's easy availability and it's WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) user interface. This makes copy and pasting of code very easy. However, for more advanced features or even things like basic navigation, there is a learning curve. This means that you have to put down money to buy a book and invest time to actually learn to use the software.

I don't know about you, but I am not exactly patient. I am a sucker for instant gratification. I love to open the software I buy and intuitively use it. I love it if I can create what I need without being exposed to all the advanced code and functionality that a typical web design software provides.

If you need to get a whole website, with navigation, good SEO techniques applied and ready to upload without being a techie, there is a dream-come-true piece of software called XSitePro. Whether you are looking to develop a hobby site, a family webpage, a content based site, sales letter or affiliate page, XSitePro allows you to rapidly create and develop websites.

When I first purchased and installed this piece of software, I was impressed by how easy it was for me to "jump in". The whole interface was very intuitive. Intellimon, the company that makes XSitePro software must have done extensive usability studies to come up with it's neat user interface. All the features are self explanatory and if you don't understand what a certain term means, there is a descriptive title for every thing.

I was absolutely thrilled to create a new project, follow the wizard like interface that makes sure you enter all the necessary information, insert my content and preview the completed website.. all without once opening the user manual or help file! For those who prefer to learn before starting stuff, they offer excellent video tutorials which is a far better way to learn something than trying to read a 400 page manual.

Needless to say, I was completely impressed with this intelligent piece of software. With XSitePro, you can create sales letters, content pages and affiliate pages with the default templates provided. There are also a lot of cool features like ready made graphics for bullet points, cool buttons, handy little scripts. In short, everything that you have seen in a professionally designed web page and secretly coveted.

There are lot more cool features that I will cover in the next posts. Here is a summary of system requirements for XSitePro:

System Requirements
Windows 98, NT, ME, 2000, XP.
256 meg RAM or greater
1 ghz processor or faster
100 meg of free hard drive space
Internet connection (broadband or DSL is best, but will also work fine with dial-up connections)
